Organic row crop farming. working ground, planting row cultivating, harvesting. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; feel plants/crops leaves and note coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; hand pick and manually grade crops; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fer tilizer to condition the soil; identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; inform farm managers of plants or crops progress; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; operate self propelled m achinery; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, sprayers, straight frame trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer c ombinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: bushes, corn, soybeans. Must speak and understand English.
