agricultural equipment operator

We need a seasonal employee to assist with our corn, wheat, rye, millet, and soybean production seasons. The employee will support all assigned duties related to planting, cultivating, maintaining, and harvesting these crops, as well as any additional tasks necessary for successful crop production. Job duties include preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; operating tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery; engaging in planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, and harvesting activities; fertilizing and spraying crops, including applying fertilizer or pesticide so lutions to control insects, fungus, weeds, and diseases using hand sprayers; irrigating soil using portable pipes or ditch systems and maintaining ditches, pipes, and pumps; installing, maintaining, and repairing pivot irrigation systems; loading and unloading crops or materials manually or using conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, or hand trucks; loading hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines using forklifts, augers, suction gates , shovels, or pitchforks; guiding products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines and removing diseased or rotten products; manipulating controls to set, activate, and adjust equipment mechanisms; observing and listening to machinery during operation to detect malfunctions; driving farm semi-trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools; inspecting, adjusting, and completing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment; and performing mainten ance and repairs on irrigation systems.
