Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment inclu ding that of center pivot; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as sorghum, wheat, soybeans; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work are as and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Maintain inventory; Trap and destroy pests such as moles, gophers, and mice; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Build agricultural structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Weigh containers and record weights and i dentifying information; Speak and understand english.
