Duties may include: Greet, register, and assign rooms to motel/camping guests. Issue room keys and instructions to guests. Make and confirm reservations. Establish how the customer will pay for accommodation and verify customer’s payment information. Review accounts and charges with guests during the check out process. Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests. Answer phones and take messages. Advise housekeeping staff when rooms are ready for cleaning. Clean and maintain lobby and common areas & other related Motel Clerk activities as per SOC/OES 43-4081 (onetonline.org).

Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Saturday 7:00AM-4:00PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Weekly schedule may vary depending on business needs. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed). Limited optional, shared housing available to the worker (including: Water, Power and Garbage) at no cost.
