Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to farmstead and fields, load employer commodities and drive trucks to transport to f ields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, stores, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread manure, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Weigh containers and record weights and identifying information; Feed and hay from field to storage locations and facil ities; Clean and move manure and slurry from pens; Although workers are allowed to possess a CDL, such a license is not required for the job.
