Operating self-propelled equipment such as tractor or truck with trailer that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows crops such as hay; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment; performing safety checks on equipment; maintaining and repairing equipment and other tools; driving truck and trailer for transporting crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas, and transporting equipment and other tools used for harvesting from one field to another; Recording information about crops; Directing and monitoring work during harvesting of crops; Participating in the storage of crops at harvest; Repairing and maintaining farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Informing grower of harvest progress; Cleaning work areas; Maintaining inventory; Attaching implements using hand tools; Weighing containers and record weights and identifying information; Guiding cro ps to regulate flow through harvesting machines and trailers; Positioning machinery to catch crops during harvest. Must speak and understand English.
