Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operating various equipment for planting, spraying, and harvesting of crops; machinery maintenance and repair; grain handling, hauling farm commodities; feeding cattle and daily care of cattle and facilities; hauling feed to cattle; and other miscellaneous duties assigned. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST (Earned Sick and Safe Time) Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. 1 hour meal break offered. Crops include: corn, and soybeans Assist with ground maintenance on farm and/or housing, i.e. weed eating, mowing, rock picking & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
