Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equippe d with GPS) such as planter, combine, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, corn; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping including brush hogging and maintaining pasture; Haul and spread inputs, fertilizer, and other materials to co ndition soil; Repair fences, water structures; Attach implements using hand tools; speak and understand English. Approximate staggered entry: 6 workers to begin Feb 1 and 2 workers to begin July 1.
