AEWR; US Workers: TX: $15.67; H2A Workers: TX: $13.83. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting of crops; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as plow, disc, planter, combine, cotton picker, dozer to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harv est crops such as corn, cotton, soybeans; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Build agricultural structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Must be able to speak and understand english.
