Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops by loading, unloading, scooping; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and op erate irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as planter, cultivator, combine, plow, drill, grain cart to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as rice, corn, cotton, soybeans; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping including mowing and picking up arou nd farm shops; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools.
