AEWR; US Workers: AR: $16.18; H2A Workers: AR: $15.05. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and a djust mechanisms on machinery; Operate or tend primarily John Deere equipment used in agricultural production such as tractor, combine, cotton picker, truck, grain cart, mower, irrigation equipment to produce crops such as cotton, rice, soybeans, wheat, milo; Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, planters, harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools; Operate towed machines such as seed drills or spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops; Irrigate soil using portable pipes or ditch systems, and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps; Set rice gates; Inspect equipment or facilities to determine condition or maintenance needs.
