This application encompasses general farm work and labor including picking fruit and harvest on a farm and fruit ranch.

This is a skill level I position and the job requires at least one month of general farm labor experience. Workers will be given training and instruction from foremen or crew bosses. Workers are expected to follow instructions and guidance to acquire skills throughout the growing and harvest season. Work will be closely monitored and assessed especially during fruit harvest/picking tasks for quality, accuracy and production.

The lifting requirement for this position is 60 pounds. The primary duties assigned under this order will be those duties of Farm Worker and Laborer Crop, Nursery and Greenhouse and under the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment Statistics Standard Occupational Classification Code 45-2092 but workers may also perform duties under Agricultural Equipment Operators 45-2091.
