Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest grain, oilseed, forage crops; L oad inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Attend to live farm animals including cattle such as calving, vaccinating, tagging, branding, feeding, supplementing, marketing; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; speak a nd understand English. Approximate staggered entry: 5 workers to begin March 1 and 1 worker to begin Aug 1.
