The workers will perform seasonal agricultural tasks related to the production of corn, soybeans, and wheat on a row crop farm in northern Minnesota. Duties include assisting with field preparation, planting, and harvesting using both manual labor and mechanized equipment. Workers will conduct in-season crop maintenance such as operating tractors and implements for cultivation, applying fertilizer and pesticides, and monitoring irrigation systems. Tasks may include walking fields to remove weeds, maintaining equipment, and supporting crop health through timely field operations. During planting and harvest periods, workdays may be extended due to narrow operating windows and weather dependency, requiring efficient execution to protect crop quality and minimize losses. Activities are directly tied to the seasonal needs of the farm and the agricultural calendar, with employment beginning in early spring and concluding post-harvest in late fall. This labor is necessary to address recurring seasonal labor shortages and ensure the timely completion of essential crop production tasks. All work performed will be limited to agricultural activities associated with the employer’s crop operations. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
