Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Repair, clean, maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and primarily John Deere, Ford, Case IH, Terra Gator self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to fertilize soil, spread lime on acres for raising crops such as wheat, soybean, and cotton; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to con dition soil; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Use hand tools for grading soil; Speak and understand english.
