The workers will assist with a variety of crop production tasks essential to the farm’s seasonal operations. During the spring, they will help prepare fields by fertilizing, tilling, and planting crops such as wheat, canola, soybeans, sunflowers, and corn. Workers will operate and maintain farm equipment including tractors, sprayers, combines, and trucks used for transporting inputs and harvested grain. They will assist with crop protection and fertilizer application and perform general farm labor such as moving grain, cleaning equipment, maintaining grain bins, and servicing machinery to ensure optimal performance throughout the season. During the summer months, duties will include transporting water and crop protection products, field scouting for crop monitoring, and other general labor tasks as needed. In the fall, workers will participate in harvesting activities, operate harvesting equipment, and transport crops from the field to storage. After harvest, they will assist with cleaning equipment, preparing storage areas, and performing fall tillage to ready the fields for the next season. Workers may also assist with farm maintenance such as fencing, rock picking, and other basic tasks supporting infrastructure. All tasks are performed under the supervision of the farm manager or designated supervisors in alignment with seasonal weather patterns and crop production timelines. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
