Responsibilities include staking, pruning, preparing plants for planting, and harvesting field crops such as balled-and-bur lapped (B&B) trees. Move harvested materials from the field to designated loading areas. Workers will fill containers and grow bags with potting soil to prepare for planting, water completed containers manually, load them onto trailers, transport to the production yard, and unload. Operate nursery equipment such as tractors, pot fillers, skid steers, and trucks as part of field operations for planting, harvesting, and seasonal crop production. Follow instructions to safely operate all machinery, ensuring the safety of operators, other workers, crops, and equipment.
