Job requires the operation of various tractors and farm equipment to till soil; work

ground; prepare and maintain land; and plant, fertilize, spray, cultivate, harvest, and

transport crops to elevator or storage area. Equipment that workers may be required to

operate includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements, sprayers,

combines, back-hoes, mowers, track-hoes, ATVs, and side-by-sides. Job also requires loading seed into planters; properly mixing chemicals; loading chemicals into sprayers;

changing combine cutting heads; rouging fields and using hand tools to remove

undesirable plant varieties, trash, and other objects from fields; mowing and

landscaping around the farm; welding; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or

clean-up of storage sheds, buildings, barns and all farm equipment; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment

to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and

agricultural equipment; regularly servicing equipment; receiving crop for drying and

storage at grain storage facility; disposing of spoiled grain; transporting grain from fields

to grain bins; loading and unloading grain into trucks while keeping grain level; operating augers and grain conveying equipment; monitoring grain moisture levels;

preparing scale tickets; and shoveling grain. Address seasonal parasite challenges by

implementing more frequent handling and health-maintenance procedures of sheep and

cows during summer months only. There are few typical days and workers may be

required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general

functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The

employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on

tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the

employer.
