farmworkers and laborers

FARM LABORER: Farm Laborer: Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: maintain varieties of ornamental trees and shrubs; plant, transplant and harvest nursery stock; prepare soil, fields and tree blocks for planting; tree block maintenance, including mowing, weed whipping, and applying fertilizers; dig and remove planted ornamental trees/plants from field; load and unload trees and supplies manually a nd with farm equipment; perform general maintenance and clean up, including removing debris, rocks and other trash on the farm, weed control by hand and other methods, and cutting grass; scraping old trees; pruning; staking; irrigation installation and maintenance; drive and operate skid-steer, tractor, auger, mower, tractor loader, or other farm vehicle as directed on farm property only. Pay will be hourly.
