Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Info rm farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and primarily John Deere self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with Greenstar GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as rice, corn, soybeans; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Maintain inventory; Trap and destroy pests such as moles, gophers, and mice; Repair f arm buildings, fences, and other structures; Build agricultural structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Speak and understand english.
