Operating self-propelled equipment that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows a variety of crops such as corn; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment; performing safety checks on equipment; maintaining and repairing equipment and other tools; driving pack tractor or truck (10 & 18 wheel) with trailer for transporting crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas, and transporting equipment and other tools used for h arvesting from one field to another. While some workers may possess a CDL, it's not a requirement of the job. Work performed on farm locations controlled/operated by R&L Greenchop may include general maintenance and cleanup of worksite, farm structures, farm grounds; use of self propelled equipment such as tractor; picking rocks; driving feed truck; moving irrigation pipe by hand.
