Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse including: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops including manually shoveling; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled mach inery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as seed drill, sprayer, combine to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, sunflowers; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Must be able to speak an d understand english.
