Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment using hand tools such as shovels, hoes, rakes, wrenches, hammers, screwdriver s; Replace irrigation parts such as nozzles, hoses, fitting, components when watering crops; Monitor water levels in fields; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Adjust settings on machines to raise crops such as corn, cotton, milo; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to t he farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Lift and carry pipe, Air and repair irrigation tires in hot and muddy conditions; speak and understand English.
