Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Operate trac tors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as sprayer, combine, planter, backhoe, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as corn, wheat, soybeans; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, discard rotten items; speak and understand English.
