vegetable farm laborer

Workers will be required to hand harvest vegetables including but not limited to Tomatoes, Squash, and Melons etc. This will include hand harvesting into a bucket and pouring it over into a picking bin. Some tractor driving may be required. Workers will be required to do general farm labor, cleaning around the shop area, picking up trash from around the fields and around the housing area, washing and sanitizing buckets, bin, tools, ETC. Workers will be required to plant seeds for vegetables, transplant, water and cultivate fields, help apply fertilizer, plastic, drip and lay flat, etc., tie plants, apply chemicals after properly trained under the supervision of a licensed applicator. Drug testing may be required to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. Workers must be able to perform all duties required.
