Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and a djust mechanisms on field bound machinery; Operate or tend primarily John Deere or Case IH equipment (most of which is equipped with Greenstar or Trimble GPS) used in agricultural production such as tractor, combine, sprayer, grain cart, mower to cultivate, plant, fertilize, harvest, store crops such as wheat, soybeans, edible beans; Adjust and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, planters, harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools; Operate towed machines such as seed drills, carts, or spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, store, spray crops; speak and understand English.
