farmworker/laborer

Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor; monitor planting, harvesting and packing processes; train new employees on employer standard operating procedures; precision planting, transplant, trim, spray, weed, maintain, and harvest to quality standards vegetable, fruit, sod and row crops; maintain planting records; prepare fields/soil for planting; maintain equipment, fields, and farm property; general repairs and maintenance of farm equipment; dig trenches for irrigation; assemble, disassemble, operate and repair irrigation equipment; assemble and prep crates, bins, bags, containers; load/unload crops; drive and operate tractor, dump truck, loader, forklift, and other farm equipment to perform farm tasks; drive employer provided vehicle to and from the worksite and to other locations; transport employers crops to market and storage locations w ith all locations allowing workers to reasonably return within same workday; grade, monitor product quality; sort and pack produce to customer standards; wash and sanitize buckets, bins, and other packing house containers and equipment and maintain a clean packing area; general farm property and farm building clean-up.
