O funcionário agrícola é obrigado a trabalhar com muitos tipos diferentes de máquinas agrícolas para preparação do solo, plantio e colheita. O trabalhador será obrigado a dirigir e controlar equipamentos agrícolas para cultivar o solo, semear/plantar, fertilizar, pulverizar pesticidas, cultivar e colher pequenas culturas de grãos, ervilhas e lentilhas. O funcionário é obrigado a manter e fazer pequenos reparos no equipamento que opera. Habilidades mecânicas e experiência são necessárias para usar o equipamento necessário para executar as tarefas acima. O trabalhador será obrigado a realizar reparos mecânicos de rotina e manutenção em equipamentos agrícolas. O trabalhador também é obrigado a anexar implementos agrícolas, como arado, disco, pulverizador ou colheitadeira, ao trator, usando ferramentas manuais do mecânico; carregar e descarregar caminhão de grãos manualmente ou usando caminhão manual, carregador ou sem-fim de transferência; pesar recipientes cheios de grãos e registrar pesos; e limpar caixas de grãos. Serão necessárias cercas mínimas para as linhas existentes, juntamente com a manutenção das instalações e do terreno. To work as an agricultural equipment operator requires physical coordination, decision-making ability, mechanical aptitude and driving skills. The ability to listen to and follow verbal directions is imperative. The job entails working outdoors in all types of weather (extreme heat, cold, wind dust, rain and snow). Worker must crouch, bend, lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds. Worker is required to have a current driver’s license. Employer provided items (at no cost to the worker): All tools and equipment necessary to perform the duties assigned as well as transportation between worker(s) on-site housing and the work site. A cell phone or two way radio will be provided for emergency and ranch communications at no cost to the worker (excluding long distance charges). Repetitive duties to be completed on a regular/daily basis include:

a. Mechanics and upkeep of farm equipment

b. Mechanics shop kept in working order

c. Preparing and storing equipment used in fieldwork

d. Field work (includes all phases of field preparation, spraying, harvest, irrigation)

e. Communicate with employer using business radio of cell phone

f. Duties as assigned daily

Drivers license required, 3 months experience is required. Long/odd hours with split shifts required during harvest and seeding.

Increased wages/bonus may be possible depending on experience.
