Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment including poly pipe; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (primarily John Deere equipment much of which is equipped with GPS ) such as planter, disc, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as rice, soybeans, cotton; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into pl anter machinery; Attach implements using hand tools. Must speak and understand English.
