ag equipment operator

Seasonal harvest crew who swaths the silage and hauls it off, so CDL is required. Will also operate heavy machinery on farm, fix equipment if needed and have a good knowledge on equipment. Workers will also perform other tasks on the farm. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, mainta in, and operate specialized equipment, tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, grain carts, pickups, cars, etc, semi trucks, skid steers, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, corn, hay, silage, wheat. Must be able to speak and understand English.
