Feed and water livestock and monitor animal health and well-being. Administer medications and vaccinations as needed. Assist with calving and other livestock husbandry activities. Handle, sort, move, and transport cattle. Operate trucks, tractors, and other farm equipment. Transport feed, hay, livestock, and other agricultural materials. Mix and distribute feed, supplements, and medications. Grind hay and feed. Haul feed from storage sites to livestock areas. Maintain and repair fences, corrals, pens, buildings, and other ranch structures. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and machinery. Clean and bed livestock facilities. Spread manure. Remove snow from work areas and livestock facilities. Perform general ranch maintenance and related duties necessary for the operation of a cattle ranch. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
