Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment such as functioning electric and diesel powered pumping units; Operate tractors (including articulated), tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as loader, telehandler, air cart, cultivator to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, peans, lentils; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive 12-18 speed trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grou nds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Speak and understand English.
