Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery; Operate or tend self propelled equipment and implements (much of which are equipped with GPS) used in agricultural production such as tractor, swather, rake, truck with trailer or double trailer, baler, grain cart, combine, wheel loader, vertical mixer, etc. for duties such as fertilizing, planting, spraying, harvesting, storing, moving to market or storage crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat; Haul manure to and from fields as fertilizer; Adjust and ready farm machinery and equipment; Clean equipment and work areas; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transpo rt to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Maintain inventory; Haul and spread fertilizer and other materials to condition soil; Attend to farm animals; by feeding; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach im plements using hand tools. Must speak and understand English.
